Introduction

I happily have over 35 years of private practice counseling experience with individuals, couples, families and corporate "families," who have been from many high stress occupations. Some of these were Police, Fire, EMS, Military and Medical personnel, as well as many other life careers that often take a toll on relationships and family life. I am so honored and grateful to hear my clients' stories and insights on the Path to Better. We work together in a comfortable, conversational style to find their strengths and discover new perspectives to untangle conflicts and limiting life patterns. It always amazes me to see how little changes can make such a BIG difference. I love to witness their AHA moments that heal and bring back Hope and Joy. New growth and happiness can happen, whether it is healing a broken relationship, reconciling a divorce or parting as friends and learning to be parenting partners and blended families. Couples can learn new tools for communication and enrichment for all parts of their relationship - and practice preventative maintenance to keep growing closer together in days ahead. Grief, Loss, Trauma and Change are integral parts of all of our lives. I have raised 6 adult children and have 11 grandchildren, so far, and one great grandchild! I was married for 46 years and have been a widow for six years, and have learned anew that the heart can love and live again. Those life lessons have been the most important to help me better understand and hold the hearts and experiences that my clients bring to share with me. I hope that you will make an appointment to come to see me soon in office or by telehealth video. I look forward to the possibility of sharing new discoveries and tools for the Path to Better with You!
