Introduction
You don't have to bear it alone. Often the most troublesome parts of life convince us to hold them close and tell us that no one can understand nor help. It may be you've tried and felt disappointed; you may feel loved but the problem remains; maybe you can't stand the idea of what'll happen if people learn what goes on inside. I can't promise a cure, but if we do our work well you may find opportunity, relief, greater peace and ease through therapy. You may make the changes you need to make and find a way to greater belonging, closeness, and satisfaction. I have watched people grow far greater than their worst moments. Together, we'll look for the heart of the matter and what might help. Some people come in the aftermath of a personal or relationship crisis, some seek relief for old pain, others simply feel certain that it's time for a change. I'm not overwhelmed by strong feelings or serious struggles, and I can stay curious when the problem gets complicated. My approach is insight-oriented, collaborative, and practical. Clients have appreciated my warmth, directness and cultural competency; some have worked with me for a brief time and others for years.
