Hello and welcome to my private practice. A little about myself, I started my career working with children and families. My initial focus was working with children, but I found that much of my work was supporting parents to manage the difficulties of being a parent, coping with stress, all while trying to ensure their own needs were met. This was a very rewarding experience and as I progressed in my career, I eventually shifted my focus and went into management. I took on the challenge of running community clinics, empowering individuals with significant mental health diagnosis to cope with their symptoms and get themselves back on their feet. After a decade as an administrator, I realized my passion was not to manage my amazing support staff, but to get back to my roots and provide individual services. Since starting my practice, I have found that many of the people I work with struggle with managing day to day stress, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. I enjoy supporting people of diverse backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Many of us are impacted by difficult choices and are challenged with remaining focused while coping with the twists and turns of life. My approach is nonjudgmental and collaborative, working together to determine meaningful goals and a solid path to achieve those goals. I have been trained in various modalities and my approach it to empower individuals to understand themselves better, live intentionally, focus solutions, live their values, and make meaningful changes with greater understanding and acceptance.
