I (she/they) am a mental health therapist specializing in somatic treatment of trauma. (OR C4948; FL TPMC4816; https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/) I identify as queer and non-binary/gender fluid. I received my BA in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan and my MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I have an integrative practice, focused on client-centered and trauma-informed practices, with an emphasis on somatic and experiential techniques, but also incorporating yoga, art, and behavioral techniques. I am training to be a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and am trained in brainspotting, a technique that advances somatic processing of trauma. I started Breaking Ground Counseling in 2017 to better serve communities I care about. I advocate for social justice, racial equity, and equal rights for those who were born or experience themselves as female, queer, BIPOC, or marginalized in our society. I live and work on land previously under the stewardship of the Multnomah, Clackamas, and Cowlitz tribes, amongst others, and forcibly taken by white settlers of European descent, and I work to honor their struggle and losses but also their wisdom and strength. *Uninsured and self-pay clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of services that will be provided at intake. **Breaking Ground Counseling is an NHSC-certified mental health site.
