Introduction

I was initially drawn to the social work profession because I found myself aligned with its values of service, self-determination and social justice. I continue to be driven by these values and have a nonjudgmental, holistic and eclectic approach grounded in harm reduction and client empowerment. I have experience utilizing CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other trauma-informed interventions, and I am currently in training as an IFS therapist, but the primary driver of my practice is not a specific modality--it is the client's goals and strengths.
