Sometimes we get stuck in cycles that are confusing and painful and keep us from living a joyful and fulfilling life. I am passionate about helping people make sense of their stories and gain a deeper understanding of all parts of themselves. My goal is to build trust with you and to help you take steps toward wholeness and healing. I love what I do and I’m so glad you’re here! My approach is client-centered and integrative. I come from a trauma-informed lens and use various therapeutic frameworks, including narrative therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and attachment theory. I am EMDR trained and firmly believe in the brain’s ability to heal from trauma. My background: I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2020 at Denver Seminary and my bachelor’s degree in education in 2013 at the University of Texas in Austin. I will soon obtain my license in professional counseling (LPC), with clinical experience as an individual and group therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have a passion for working with adults recovering from various difficulties, such as trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working with grief and loss and feel honored to walk that healing journey with my clients. From my own personal recovery, I believe that healing happens through genuine connection with God, others, and oneself. I love the beauty of the mountains, coffee, learning every word to a song, exercising, traveling, and the color purple. “It is not proving ourselves to be better than others but confessing to be just like others that is the way to healing and reconciliation.” – Henri Nouwen
