I specialize in helping people regain their emotional health and overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I use well researched methods of treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy and future directed therapy, that allow me to help my patients identify the blind spots in their thinking and behavior so they can break out of the patterns that aren’t working, and instead do something more effective. As a psychologist for more than 15 years, I have served in numerous leadership roles in hospitals across the county, including as the director of the Outpatient Psychotherapy Programs at both Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. I have also been a featured expert for the magazine Psychology Today for over 10 years. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at UCLA and my doctorate degree at Fordham University in New York City, and I completed my postdoctoral training in clinical research at Columbia University.
