Jennifer received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University in 2018. Upon graduation, Jennifer started her private practice and worked in a hospital setting with adults and adolescents suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship distress, psychosis, somatic disorders, PTSD, and more. While at the hospital, she recognized a lack of family involvement in the treatment of patients, and so she developed, implemented and ran two new Family Programs for both Adults and Adolescents. Jennifer continues to work with a range of issues in a private practice setting and offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs. She believes healing is possible, even after severe trauma, because of the body's amazing resilience and capacity for growth. She enjoys helping people tap into their own adaptive healing and move toward a more joy-filled life. Jennifer is a trained Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner. ART is a unique eye movement therapy that can quickly alleviate symptoms of PTSD and trauma, often in one session!
