Hi, I’m Jennifer, a therapist and the founder of Perfectly Imperfect Counseling Services. I created this space because I know what it feels like to carry the weight of multiple roles—woman, mother, partner, professional, caregiver—while trying to keep it all together. For years, I poured into everyone around me while quietly battling stress, burnout, and self-doubt. That experience, combined with over a decade of clinical expertise, led me to focus on helping other women who are doing all the things and feeling overwhelmed in the process. I specialize in working with women who look like they’ve got it all together on the outside but are wrestling with anxiety, self-criticism, people-pleasing, and emotional exhaustion on the inside. Whether you're navigating life transitions, relationship stress, grief, or just trying to figure out how to put yourself first without guilt, this space was made for you. I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Polyvagal-Informed somatic practices in therapy. These approaches help us get curious about the parts of you that are trying to keep you safe while guiding you toward a more compassionate, grounded, and balanced way of being. My work is rooted in real-life understanding, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief that you deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported. If you’re ready to explore what it looks like to prioritize your needs and redefine strength on your terms, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
