It is said that if you allow your passion to become your purpose, it will one day become your profession. My passion has always been to help others and to make today better than yesterday. Throughout the years, that passion-turned-purpose has become my profession as I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor for over 21 years. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999 with a B.S. in Psychology and received my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2001. I have worked with several local organizations including Scotty's House, Phoebe's Home, and Head Start over the years to help children and families in difficult circumstances. Now, my focus is entirely in private practice as I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to strengthen relationships, improve communication and promote positive behaviors. I have been married to my husband, Kent, for 21 years. We have 2 teenage boys and a mini Labradoodle, Pepper, that have kept us smiling and laughing throughout the years.
