I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor and earned a PhD in Psychology. After working in the field of mental health for over 15 years, personal experience led me to the specialty of reproductive mental health. I feel passionate about providing support to individuals, couples, and families at various stages of the reproductive process: pre-pregnancy, throughout treatment, and post partum. Each phase presents unique challenges and stressors; family planning, relationship stress, grief & loss, high risk pregnancy, postpartum issues, and everything in between. I am a member of and have obtained training in reproductive mental health through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). These topics include, emotional impact of infertility treatment, contemporary family building, LGBTQIA+ family building, decisions surrounding donor egg/sperm/embryo, pregnancy loss and reproductive trauma While I currently specialize in reproductive mental health, general counseling sessions are also offered.
