I moved to Oklahoma as a child and grew up in Edmond. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK in 2006 and worked in the corporate world for a few years before pursuing graduate school. In 2010, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK and began practicing therapy upon graduation. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Supervisor) and a Registered Play Therapist. Taking a client-centered approach, I work with children, teens, and adults with various presenting stressors including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, phase of life dynamics, and adjustment problems. I believe that play is a natural way for children to express what happens in their world. Because of this belief, I utilize play therapy techniques to meet children where they are and to understand their stressors through their most natural form of communication. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and children, reading books, and going to the movies.
