Hello and thank you for looking at my site. Finding the right therapist can be stressful and frustrating process. So, instead of listing my credentials and training at the start I thought I would talk first about finding what YOU need to achieve YOUR Goals. The first part is finding the person who can understand you, where you stand now and then help you hit the next level. And let’s be real here, there is no such thing as a one size fits all therapist. And since this is about fit, let’s talk a bit about how I work and what I’m like. I’m the kind of therapist that gets right in there. I’m direct, but nurturing and supportive. The clients that see the most success with me are ready to see REAL CHANGE in their lives. This will also mean doing REAL WORK. I’m not just going to sit there, smile and nod, nor will I have any quick fixes. But I'll be right there with you, sleeves rolled up and ready to find the best ways to get you to your goal. Will there be times when you need to just vent it all out? Absolutely!!! And then … we work. I take a collaborative approach because after all therapy is about YOU and YOUR GOALS. My job is essentially to provide the space and tools for you to no longer need me. Awesome, right? Now, I mentioned before that there is real work involved. This means if you want change, then your commitment to that change is vital. The work involved is some of the hardest work you will ever do and also the most rewarding. How can I say this with any certainty? Because self-work is the most challenging because it’s a time when you have decided to look at yourself, and how you want to be different. Doing this kind of work takes courage and strength. Nobody gets through life unscathed, but those who work to heal and make changes are brave, strong, happier and healthier people. If the above seems like a good fit for you, then keep reading.
