Our mental and physical health are undeniably intertwined, and it is impossible to focus on one without acknowledging and understanding the other. As a licensed clinical psychologist, my specialty is working with individuals on appreciating the relationship between their mind, body, and environment, identifying what may be contributing to their struggles, and locating potential areas to intervene. I am passionate about working with those who have experienced life changing injuries, disabilities, or medical conditions that impact daily life in any way. You may feel overwhelmed and even hopeless, but if you are open to giving therapy a chance, I am here to support you. Every person is different and every problem is different, which means treatment needs to be different as well. The first step is learning what matters to you and what your goals are. Some examples of what therapy can focus on include treating anxiety/depression, adapting to new life circumstances, navigating relationships, improving sleep, and managing pain. I vow to hear you, respect you, and challenge you. I will learn what is important to you, what you have been through, where you struggle, and where you want to go. We will create an environment that feels safe, so that you can be honest, authentic, and vulnerable. If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, please don't hesitate to contact my office!
