Jennifer is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing evidence-based care via telemental health services. She believes that everyone deserves to have top-notch care centered on professionalism and integrity. Growing up in a rural part of eastern North Carolina, Jennifer sees the needs of the community and wants to give back to her community as well as other rural parts of NC that may not have access to mental health professional services. Society has misconstrued how mental health is designed. This has lead many individuals to feel they should not seek professional mental health care. Jennifer is dedicated to changing the negative associations society has placed on mental health by supporting our communities with TLC. As an African American and Christian woman of God, she believes in helping ALL people no matter what they look like or their beliefs systems. Jennifer's passion is to give unbiased care reaching back to support our families and our community. Jennifer has been doing individual, couples, marital and premarital counseling as an ordained minister since 2014. During this time, she found that relationship challenges were partially caused by a partner or partners with mental health struggles. Jennifer decided to attend graduate school to ascertain her MSN in Psychological Mental Health from her prior experience with counseling.
