Introduction

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, Jennifer has a passion for working with individuals and families. She enjoys working with children as young as 4, adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience treating trauma, PTSD, abuse, neglect, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, grief and loss, problematic sexual behavior in children, and parenting issues. These issues are sometimes rooted in trauma, but not always. Working together, Jennifer helps you overcome these struggles so that you, your child, or your family will have an improved quality of life. Jennifer’s therapeutic process is rooted in a family systems perspective and viewed through a trauma-informed lens. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Phase Based Therapy (PBT). Providing a safe space to process and explore emotions is a priority for Jennifer. Through this processing and exploration, she hopes to provide her clients with opportunities for growth, resulting in improved communication and connection with yourself, your child, and/or your family.
