Introduction

I am a dually licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience treating those struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and substance abuse. Each person has unique experiences that shape them and guide how they approach life. I believe that feeling understood by your therapist creates an environment for vulnerability, resulting in growth and insight. I am a certified eating disorder specialist. I help those struggling with anorexia, bulimia, and specialize in treating binge eating and emotional eating. I treat the co-occurring mental health issues that contribute to the eating disorder. I challenge diet culture and practice from a HAES (Health At Every Size) framework. I will create a nonjudgmental space for you to explore your challenges, recognize your inner strengths, and offer skills and strategies to make changes. I will be compassionate while also holding you accountable to yourself and your goals.
