I take an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing a client-centered, humanistic lens and evidence-based treatment models tailored to each individual client. A graduate of the Columbia School of Social Work, I'm experienced in Interpersonal, Psychodynamic, Trauma-informed, Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths-Based, and Complicated Grief Therapy, as well as Motivational Interviewing and relaxation and mindfulness techniques. I work with clients with a wide range of mental health needs and concerns, ages 22 and older. I believe I am known for my empathy, warmth, and down-to-earth manner. My clients often note that I “get” them early on. I like to work collaboratively with clients from day one, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. Though not fluent in Spanish, I speak more now than what I learned in high school and college, thanks to my bilingual clients.
