I’ve worn many hats throughout the therapy world from Art Therapy to Applied Behavior Analysis to traditional therapy but through it all one thing has become abundantly clear to me - People are so resilient! Resilience is the ability to find our way out of a dark time, to bounce back, to heal and find new hope. As a therapist, I find that it is critical to accept 2 things: that life is very difficult at times and you have the strength to find peace and joy. I love helping people find this within themselves and utilize the strength they already possess to get through a tough season. I recognize that we are all doing the best we can with the skills we have and we may need to learn new skills or new ways of thinking to progress forward. Therefore, I approach each person with an open mind, non-judgmental attitude, and genuine interest and drive to support them!
