I love meeting people, exploring how they define their goals, and then working to help them achieve it. I enjoy the process of working together as we learn from one another. I have a client-centered approach where I utilize evidence-based treatments to help my clients experience relief, peace, and success. I specialize in anxiety, stress, procrastination, relationships, and chronic illness. With almost 20 years of experience, I am certified in tinnitus treatment and co-author of "Tinnitus: Turning the Volume Down (Revised and Expanded). I believe, based on research, our behaviors, reactions, and emotions are related to how our brain physically functions. We are triggered, in a pre-conscious way, to stimuli and I practice techniques and therapies that allow us to intervene at a subconscious level so that we can literally create new responses to the same triggers. I typically schedule a free consultation call so that we can determine if we are a good fit to work together. Once we decide to move forward, I always try to practice transparency so we can rework, when necessary, goals, strategy, and/or simply track progress. In reference to insurance, I am in-network for some providers but not all. You will most likely receive a percentage reimbursement if you have out of network coverage. I am happy to check for you prior to scheduling your first appointment. As courtesy to my clients, my practice will file insurance claims (in or out of network) on your behalf.
