Jenny Tracey (née Bach) is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. She has worked in Human Resources at the Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA and was initially pursuing a legal career following her graduation from Columbia and pivoted careers when she felt called to become a therapist after personally experiencing coping transformation through counseling. Jenny believes that every individual, including herself, can benefit from therapy and can learn to embrace increased emotional awareness and regulation as well as healthier coping skills. Jenny has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and has provided individual and group counseling in inpatient and outpatient settings. At the New York Foundling Hospital in Manhattan, she was trained in Multisystemic Therapy (MST), an evidence-based treatment model for children and families. She focuses on motivational interviewing and psycho-education with a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach. Jenny also works with individuals with ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and provides Executive Functioning Training (EFT). Within an authentic and empathetic therapeutic rapport, she is dedicated to providing a person-centered and strength-based safe space to cultivate trust and a true sense of emotional intelligence to work towards positive and effective change.
