Sometimes we have to navigate impossible seasons of our lives. Complex grief scenarios such as ongoing illness and caregiving stress can be difficult to talk about with those we love. Having a safe space to process uncomfortable topics, or traumas, is important as we learn about ourselves and begin to grow. Helping you understand how your brain and your body process different experiences and finding ways to integrate mental, physical, and spiritual health is what drives me to work alongside my clients as they build upon existing strengths. I believe you are the expert of your own life and I want to help you reach your goals! I enjoy finding interventions that help people understand what motivates them and how they can overcome what feels impossible. I use DBT and EMDR to help people reprocess traumatic events, improve their athletic performance, and manage stress more effectively. I am also an ultra runner and am passionate about supporting runners mentally prepare for race day. It can be stressful trying to find a therapist and I encourage you to advocate for your needs, and to view therapy as a personal investment. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy, and I hope to help you navigate this season in your life. I find great joy in helping people learn ways to embrace their own healing and overcome the impossible.
