Introduction

After graduating from Whittier College in Whittier, Ca with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and double minor in Studio Art and Art History, Dr. Olague completed his Master of Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences in Azusa, Ca. He obtained his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in 2014, and completed an APA approved pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology at the Child and Family Guidance Center and Two-Year APA Approved Fellowship in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology specializing in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Co-occurring Trauma Dr. Olague uses systemic, evidence-based practices to help children and their families. When necessary, Dr. Olague helps families implement behavioral approaches and responses that will help diminish the child’s problematic behaviors. With adolescents and adults Dr. Olague uses an interpersonal therapy approach. Interpersonal therapy focuses on interpersonal issues, which are understood to be a factor in the genesis and maintenance of psychological distress. Dr. Olague treats individuals with ADHD, Disruptive Behaviors, depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger. Areas of interest include: - Children and Adolescents and their Families - Traumatic Brain Injury and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ADHD, LD, ASD, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, etc.) - Child Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma - Multicultural Psychology - Neuropsychological Assessment - Developing and Implementing Interventions and Accommodations to Allow Children and Adolescents Achieve Their Potential - Provision of services in Spanish and English Dr. Olague completed his postdoctoral fellowship in trauma psychology and neurodevelopmental disorders at Children's Hospital Los Angeles with an appointment at University of Southern California's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disorders
