My focus is on clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and life challenges. Life challenges can include transitions, relationship struggles, career/education direction, finding work/life balance, as well as change and loss. I have experience working with clients using CBT, DBT, yoga therapy, motivational interviewing, and grief therapy. I also focus on attachment theory and schema theory. I first establish a strong rapport with my clients so they feel comfortable working together to develop their own treatment plan. I will always work to create a safe, honest, judgment-free space for my clients. My goal as a counselor is to be a source of support and comfort as my clients navigate their personal lives. I want to celebrate the uniqueness of everyone's experiences and provide ample opportunity for my clients to learn about themselves and their needs.
