What was your path to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker? I’ve always been a very empathetic person, so I was naturally drawn to the profession of helping others. One of my favorite quotes is, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” It's true; in life, we are all going through different types of challenges. The challenges may vary, but the pain and suffering that can come with life challenges or "battles” are universal. I enjoy helping my clients get through their life challenges. What should someone know about working with you? I am honored when a client chooses to take their therapeutic journey with me; it is a responsibility that I take seriously. I always demonstrate a high level of professionalism and am never judgmental, regardless of what my client discloses to me. I work with women who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and coping with life stressors. If you are having a difficult time managing the stress in your life or struggling with emotional turmoil, I'm here to help. What do you do to continue learning and building competencies as a provider? I continue my education on an ongoing basis to build on my skills and expand my knowledge. I love learning about evolving mental health treatment techniques that can better serve my clients! I’m committed to continuing my education and I attend a minimum of 40 hours of courses every two years.
