My therapeutic approach centers on a strength-based lens, with a goal of guiding clients toward developing their best selves. I am well-versed in trauma-focused methods and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness into my work with clients. I adopt a person-centered approach that emphasizes individual needs and goals, and aim to equip clients with the skills that are essential for personal growth. Currently, I hold a limited permit as a Mental Health Counselor and am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. I earned my undergraduate degree from Marist College, followed by a Master of Science in Education and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology from the College of St. Rose. Later, I attained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo. With over 15 years of experience within the mental health field, I have worked with teens, adults, and families across diverse settings that include schools, residential facilities, and private practices. I believe that therapy should be available to all who seek it regardless of financial status, and as such, I offer payment on a sliding scale that ranges from $65 to $125 per session. Confirmation of income not required.
