Introduction

Hi, I'm Jessica (she/her pronouns), the owner of Moxie + Grace Therapy. I chose these meaningful words as a touchstone for the therapeutic experience I'm dedicated to cultivating with clients. Moxie reflects the courage, spirit and grit it takes to change and grace is the compassionate presence I strive to bring to the process. One of the most transformative experiences of my life was the transition and path to parenthood. I saw firsthand the challenges, joys and confusion that surrounded this vital phase of life. Whether you are navigating the complexities of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum experiences, or the demands of parenthood, I am here to offer support and guidance with sensitivity and understanding. My therapeutic style is deeply influenced by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful modality designed to process and heal trauma. By incorporating EMDR techniques, we can work together to unlock the innate capacity of your mind to heal from distressing experiences and create a foundation for lasting change. I bring a wealth of experience and ongoing dedication to staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health and therapeutic modalities. Central to my professional learning is advanced training in EMDR, Perinatal Mental Health, Sex Therapy, Cultural Sensitivity and Social Justice.
