Introduction

I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Certified Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor Level II (CADAC II), a Sandtray Therapist, & an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Master Education Trainer. I am currently licensed to practice in Indiana, Illinois, & Missouri. In addition, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, an EMDR Consulting EMDR Trainer in Training, & an EMDR Coach. I am also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Critical Incident Desensitization (CID) Protocol, Acute Traumatic Incident (A-TIP) Protocol, & I am a CIDP Instructor. I have been in the Mental Health field for over a decade. I have a Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy & Community Counseling as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. ​On a more personal level, I am a married mother of five & the beach is my "happy place." I am passionate about helping clients achieve their treatment goals & "live their best lives". I specialize in the diagnosis & treatment of trauma-related individual, couple, family, & group issues. I have experience providing therapy in a variety of treatment settings including outpatient, home-based, school-based, correctional, church, hospital, & residential. ​My mission is to provide clients with a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where they can genuinely feel heard, respected, & empowered. I utilize clinical practices that are culturally sensitive, evidence-based, & trauma-informed. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to treat presenting problems including traditional talk therapy, EMDR, Sandtray Therapy, & Play Therapy. ​
