Introduction

My name is Jessica Gonzales-Latchaw and I am an LPC-S in Fort Worth, Texas. I've always been drawn to helping others and feel humbled I have the opportunity to meet and help anyone who comes into my office. I specialize in adult individuals struggling with grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am also passionate about women's issues, helping new moms, the LGBTQ community as well as client's with eating disorders and/or body image concerns. While my view of the world and therapy is based in a client-centered approach, I am also trained in multiple trauma modalities including Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). I use my different skills to help my clients recognize their patterns and heal through self-compassion and creating a deep sense of safety, first through our relationship and them within themselves. I believe you already possess everything you need to handle life's ups and downs, you're just missing a safe space to discover those abilities. I would be honored to provide that safe space. I'm endlessly curious about my clients and passionate about helping them discover or rediscover themselves. Therapy is only as successful as the relationship between client and counselor, if I'm not the right fit, I'll find you someone that is!
