Welcome to Engage ! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a MSW graduate of the University of Missouri . I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you. I offer a dynamic practice to support you in your journey , overcoming life's challenges. Together we seek solutions to life's stressors--past, present and future. The ultimate goal is for you to experience your best life . EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING ( EMDR) I have an affinity for the healing process and am honored to walk beside you in this journey of self discovery. I am trained in the 8 phases of EMDR and have additional training to support working with complex trauma. DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY (DBT) I offer adherent Dialectical Behavior therapy that supports all components of DBT ( individual, group , coaching and consult team participation). I offer DBT for teens as well as adults. I provide skills instruction on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I enjoy rivers, lakes, oceans, really any body of water . I enjoy travel with my husband, exploring new places and experiencing the culture associated with travel . I love to include creative processes in my work and offer additional opportunities of self expression and affirmation through SoulCollage®. ABOUT MY PRACTICE Effective September 1, 2023 I am partnering with Hello Alma to accept the following insurances : Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. Optum includes United Health Care, GEHA, Oscar, Harvard Pilgrim , UMR, All Savers. Medicaid and Medicare insurance coverage are not accepted at this time.
