Trauma is anything that is not nurturing to your brain and overwhelms the brain's ability to cope. I became a therapist to work with adolescents and adults who have experienced all forms of trauma. I work with clients who have experienced the loss of a loved one to extreme abuse and the everyday struggles in between. My clients want to process these troubling events and work to overcome them to lead a more fulfilling life. I utilize several different approaches to overcome traumatic experiences including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused and Motivational Interviewing. Are you looking for a therapist who offers down-to-earth, compassionate care? Someone who is non-judgemental, unbiased, understands your life experiences, and is able to walk alongside you in your journey? If this sounds like you, please reach out for a free confidential phone consultation to discuss your needs, and how I can help you.
