Jessica began working in 2007 with children, parents and families in schools. Discovering her gifts in providing individualized support, she transitioned to mental health care in 2012. Jessica provided years of support in community mental health clinics to under-served populations with expertise in children and families suffering the impact of trauma. In community mental health, Jessica served as one of the few area clinicians to accept children under the age of 5 for outpatient therapy, working to provide much-needed service to a struggling population and their families. As part of this work, Jessica provided expert consultation to school systems working to support children with trauma. Most recently, Jessica has transitioned to her current work with individual adults in private practice. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Counseling and a License as a Mental Health Counselor, and has received advanced training in recognizing and treating complex trauma. Complimentary to her mental health education, she is a trained yoga teacher through the 200-hr program of Yoga Sanctuary in Northampton, MA, as well as educated and trained in meditation and mindful self-compassion practices.
