It would be my privilege to help you become whole, again! I believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives and that with a little help and guidance THEY hold the power to become whole, again! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping my clients through the ups and downs of life. The populations that I love to work with include high school students, college students, couples, new parents, empty-nesters, and singles. I use evidence based treatment approaches and interventions to help my clients become whole, again. I take an integrated care approach to mental health, and truly believe that wellness consists of mind, body, and soul work. I believe in the power of personal values and the importance of living towards those personal values. I've worked in a variety of mental health settings. Prior to being in private practice in Cleveland, I extensively worked in college student mental health. I also owned/operated my own private practice in North Carolina where I solely focused on treating couples. I understand the issues related to life transitions. All life transitions are hard. I received specific couples/marriage counseling training through the research backed Gottman Institute in Seattle, WA. I have completed level 2 of Gottman Method couples counseling and am also qualified to teach parenting/relationship workshops from the Gottman Institute. I specialize in helping couples move through life transitions. When I'm not working, I'm a busy mom and wife. My husband and I have three beautiful children and we are always on the run! Marriage and motherhood are tied at being the HARDEST (and best) things I've ever done. My identity is made of my important past and present life roles: a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a division 1 student athlete (swimmer), animal lover, a quilter/artist, a water lover, and a traveler/adventurer. A few of my most important personal values: Family, free-time, integrity, creativity, and hard-work. I try to live a life that is in accordance with my personal values - and I hope that these values show through in my work with you! Professional verification provided by Psychology Today
