Introduction

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, and psychological testing. I have trained and worked in group practice, academic, and non-profit settings in Illinois. I founded Introspekt Therapy in 2023. I currently provide individual teletherapy services to adults and adolescents in Illinois (License # 071.009058) and several other states, as I am a PSYPACT certified psychologist (Mobility # 18774). To see a map of states with enacted and pending PSYPACT legislation, please follow this link: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap I am also an adult child of divorce, trauma, poverty, and loss. My own therapy experience helped me in life-changing ways, and I am committed to helping you feel the sense of liberation and clarity that a supportive therapy experience can bring. I earned my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology (2010) and Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) (2013) degrees at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I earned my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature in 2008 at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. I completed advanced training in the following areas: psychoanalytic theory and practice from the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy’s Fellowship Program; treatment of adult children of emotionally immature parents (ACEIPs) from Dr. Lindsay Gibson; and perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I love finding beauty and humor in everyday moments, coffee, the infectious laughter of my two young children, and learning about the influences of personality and history on interior design.
