Before becoming a social worker, I held a career in public safety. My entire life, I have spent helping those in their worst moments. When it came time for a career change, the natural progression led me toward another career where I would continue to help others. I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Behavioral Health with a Master's in Social Work. Over the last four years, I have gained experience working in psychotherapy, medical social work with liver and kidney transplant patients, as a Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator for insurance companies, and in academia as an instructor for Loma Linda University School of Social Work. I work with clients to uncover strengths and develop skills to live, feel, and function better. Everyone has individual needs, and therapy and counseling must be tailored accordingly. I can help you uncover and work toward what you want from your life and relationships. I use diverse interventions from schools of therapy, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. My approach is low-pressure and non-judgmental. I have ample clinical experience in providing therapy to those who have experienced trauma, specializing in individuals who serve in the military and public safety. When I am not in the process of helping people, I spend my spare time assisting furry four-legged animals. I am a proud mom to French Bulldogs and help a small local rescue. I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, traveling, and working out. Balance is vital in life. I am here to help you obtain your footing and achieve your goals.
