Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas, dedicated to helping individuals overcome challenges and improve their well-being. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in Arlington and a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University, I bring a strong educational background and specialized training to my practice. My areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, parenting issues, ADHD, and navigating life changes. I have worked with clients in various settings, including non-profit organizations, private practice, inpatient facilities, and within the school district. This diverse experience has equipped me with valuable insights and strategies to address a wide range of mental health concerns. In my approach to therapy, I firmly believe in a person-centered perspective. This means that you, as the client, are at the center of the therapeutic process. Your unique experiences, needs, and goals guide our sessions, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel empowered to explore and express yourself freely. I understand that seeking therapy can be a significant step towards personal growth and healing. Together, we will collaborate to develop effective strategies, build resilience, and foster positive changes in your life. Whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term exploration, I am committed to providing compassionate and professional counseling tailored to your individual needs.
