Jessica Tomsen is licensed as an LCSW. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, and attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for her Master’s Degree in Social Work. For over 10 years she has worked in a variety of settings. Jessica has extensive experience working in the areas of mental health, palliative medicine, medical needs, homelessness, housing, aging and disability, and psychotherapy. She enjoys empowering others to set and reach their goals in life. Jessica believes that the relationship between the therapist and client is the most important aspect of healing. She will provide a safe and therapeutic environment for those who enter to share their story and feel validated. She utilizes different therapy modalities, along with art practices to aid in the process. She believes that by allowing people to tap into their creative mindset, that will allow them comfort while navigating their inner struggles. She also strongly believes in advocating for her clients and empowering them to advocate for themselves through life's challenges.
