My style of therapy is based on identifying your strengths and helping you build on them. Using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, I will help you "let go" and work toward shifting your thinking. I believe looking at things with a new perspective is crucial to better mental health. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the Boston University School of Social Work. My experience includes running the sober program at C.A.S.P.A.R. (Cambridge and Somerville Program for Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation) in the Emergency Service Center as well as running the substance abuse outpatient program and acupuncture detox at M.A.P.S. (Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers.) I have been a stay at home Mom and a volunteer in my community. Most recently, I worked for Bridgewell in Chelmsford in their outpatient program. Presently, I am working with clients in my own private practice.
