Most of my clients are young adults diagnosed with anxiety and depression. And, I always take the time to really get to know you and establish trust. Then, we’ll go deeper into your background to learn about what made you the person you are today. We’ll establish what’s not working, what you want to change, and how you want to feel. I strongly believe in the power of empathy in the relationship between a therapist and a client. Clients have said that they feel listened to and heard in our sessions and feel a strong sense of connection with me. I can deliver truths in a way you’ll be able to hear - and learn from. For six years I worked with adults diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, then went back to school to get a master’s in social work from Rutgers. Since graduating I’ve pursued additional training in evidence-based treatment practices such as trauma-focused CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. In addition to private practice, I work as an in-home therapist for children ages 3-21 in the state of NJ who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and significant behavioral problems. When I’m not in session, I love spending time in Ocean City at the beach with my husband and our two young children. I look forward to meeting you and helping you find effective ways to find harmony in your everyday life.
