I offer individual therapy sessions for adults 18 and older, providing personalized support based on your situation and goals. Are you a healthcare worker experiencing compassion fatigue or burnout? (I specialize in working with healthcare professionals and am a therapist who sees other therapists). Do you find yourself having difficulty falling or staying asleep and feeling exhausted from the lack of rest? (I am trained in CBT and mindfulness for insomnia). Have mood swings got you down and then up and then down again? (Helping you learn to live your best life while navigating bipolar moods is another one of my skill sets). Whether you're finding your way through anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, insomnia, mood swings, or other personal challenges, I am here to provide a non-judgmental environment where you can express your thoughts, emotions, and concerns. My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. Together, we will address your unique life journey and needs. We will focus on your strengths and desires to help you live a full and meaningful life while accepting and managing the pain that all of us inevitably experience. I am trained in various approaches including CBT, DBT, and ACT, allowing me to tailor our sessions to your goals. When I'm not in session, you can find me at home with my long-time spouse and our rescue cats. Cats (and other animals too, of course!) have an amazing ability to provide comfort and emotional support. They remind us of the importance of self-care and finding moments of joy in our everyday lives. You might also find me wrapped up in a good book. I believe in the power of stories to inspire, educate, and heal. I'm always willing to recommend books and hear about the ones you’ve read that have been meaningful on your journey! Exercise is another source of rejuvenation for me. I love to hike and run. Regular exercise has proven benefits for mental well-being, and I encourage my clients to explore physical activities that resonate with them. Take the first step by reaching out to me. Many companies such as Walmart, Amazon, Nike, Starbucks, Providence Health Care, and Meta/Facebook offer this benefit which covers the cost of sessions. *I am out-of-network for most insurance panels (except Aetna, Lyra, and Providence). In some cases, I am able to provide courtesy out-of-network billing on your behalf. If I am unable to do so, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
