I am a New York State licensed psychologist practicing in Scarsdale, New York. I provide evidenced-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in both individual and group formats. I also have training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and incorporate mindfulness into much of my work. I treat teenagers through older adults who are struggling with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, suicidality, interpersonal difficulties and stress management. I also supervise other clinicians who want to learn, or improve their skills in, evidence-based treatments. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment to help people manage emotions and stress effectively so that they can get greater joy and satisfaction from their life and relationships. I strongly believe that building a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential to help heal from past relationship traumas and move forward in one's life with greater ease and peace of mind.
