Jody is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received her Master's degree in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor's degree from University of Northwestern, St. Paul. Jody approaches the therapeutic relationship with warmth and the belief that all people have the ability to heal. She has experience working with families, couples and individuals. She is competent to work with clients who have experienced complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and she is also able to address family, spiritual, and relational dynamics of control. She is trained in the Adaptive Internal Relational Network model and approaches therapy from a competency based, feminist relational perspective that has a foundation in developmental neurology. Jody's training includes family systems approach and incorporates that in the understanding of work with individuals and couples. She enjoys incorporating spirituality into therapy if that is desired by the client.
