Joseph graduated from Arizona State University with a doctorate in behavioral health. Joseph has provided counseling services for 12+ years in both mental health and addiction. Joseph is also a NC clinical supervisor for both mental health and substance abuse counselors. Joseph is licensed in both North and South Carolina as a mental health counselor and addictions specialistist. I enjoy helping individuals find their own truths and happiness in life. I believe we have all of our answers within ourselves and it is my job to help you explore your own solutions and focus your strengths to reach your goals. My area of interest and experience is with individuals who have suffered from Anxiety, Depression, Substance Abuse issues, Career, parent/child relational conflicts, and more. I enjoy providing life coaching and/or counseling services to assist people in reaching their highest potential. I have also provided parental counseling and child-rearing advice to several families. I can be as gentle or directive as you desire in our sessions. I will meet you where you are, in your quest to find peace, happiness, success, or whatever other goals you desire. I use an eclectic approach to assist you in the way that will be the most beneficial for your needs using a variety of techniques including Solution-focused therapy, ACT (Acceptance and commitment therapy, CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as several other approaches.
