We will talk about underlying feelings, such as shame, low self-esteem, guilt, rejection, dependency, abandonment, etc., that have resulted from these distorted thoughts. Deep down, you know those thoughts are not you, not part of your authentic self. Those thoughts are learned behaviors that have only served your pain. Together, we can explore the core of your negative belief system, while developing healthy thinking patterns and beliefs about yourself, others, and the world. With over 16 years, I am experience working with adults and adolescents, individuals, couples, and groups. My expertise includes working on changing negative thought patterns, managing overwhelming emotions, trauma, depression, and anxiety, and with individuals in the LGBTTQQIAAP communities.
