Welcome! The very fact that you are here exhibits courage. You may be wanting to engage in therapy for a variety of reasons. It could be a life event that you didn’t expect, anxiety, depression, or just simply feeling stuck. Therapy can provide insight and new tools to successfully navigate through life and provide you with purpose and meaning. I will work collaboratively with you to listen and understand your point of view. This will allow me to be your change agent as you are the expert in your own life. You may be wondering about me and my qualifications. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have specific training focusing on helping you explore issues and challenges in your own life. My specialized experience includes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing. My focus is to work with you to help restore or achieve balance. I strive to support you in achieving meaning and purpose so that you can live a fulfilled life even when challenges come your way.
