Dr. John J Wang is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Geriatric and Adult psychiatry. He has over 20 years of experience and specializes in Major depressive disorder, Bipolar disorder type 1 and 2, Generalized Anxiety disorder, Panic disorder with or without Agoraphobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and Behavioral disturbance for young adults from 18 years old to seniors who are 65 years old and older. He went to UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson for medical school and completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Subsequently, he attended fellowship at New York University Medical Center in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has worked as an Associate Professor at NYU School of Medicine, Attending physician at NYC Health + Hospital/Bellevue, Putnam Hospital, Saint Vincent's Hospital Westchester, and Westchester Medical Group/Summit Health. He was most recently in outpatient practice at Clearwave Mental Health where he was trained in transcranial magnetic stimulation.
