At some point in our lives, we all experience distress brought on by our jobs, financial concerns, conflict with friends and family, and feelings of uncertainty due to global events. Some problems have deeper roots, such as the family environment we grew up in, questions about personal identity, traumatic experiences across the lifespan, and psychological disorders that have gone undiagnosed. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will help you to explore how it all fits together. We will work together to identify patterns that are no longer serving you, foster an understanding of how developmental experiences influence your current struggles, and build new skills to move you toward your goals. My work with clients emphasizes identifying and processing emotions, exploring interpersonal relationships, understanding the roles of values and identity in shaping our experiences, and reaching a deeper understanding of the self.
