I am a licensed psychologist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. I am a full member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) and routinely attend conferences and trainings to ensure that my treatment approach for anxiety and depression is informed by the latest psychological science. Other areas where I enjoy working with clients include relationship difficulties, identity and phase-of-life concerns, career counseling, workplace stress and burnout, and men's issues. Although I primarily use CBT in my work with clients, I also incorporate positive and strength-based psychology, mindfulness, and other evidence-based treatments into my practice in order to provide my clients with as many effective tools as possible to achieve their goals. Because of my professional experience working at several universities and medical institutions both here in the United States and abroad, I am particularly familiar with the unique therapeutic needs and challenges of college students, graduate students, expats, researchers, professors, higher education professionals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
