I believe we all just want to be accepted and feel a sense of belonging and care in this world. Living in a society that minimizes self-compassion, slowing down, and tuning into our bodies makes it hard to feel connected to ourselves and those around us. Add in traumatic life experiences and the world can easily become overwhelming. With the goal of fostering empowerment and self-awareness, I work to create a non-judgmental space to explore these themes and strengthen your connection with self. During my time in the field, I've developed a deep awareness and understanding of the mind body connection and the importance of looking through a holistic lens, meaning the interweaving nature of emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing. This, along with attachment theory and being trauma informed, helps to guide me in my practice with others. When we find a way to be with our experiences, including the difficult emotions that arise when feeling them, we find our way to meaning and purpose. We find our way to the recognition of our shared humanity. We find our way to a more authentic and wholehearted life. We find our way back to our authentic self. If this speaks to you, let's chat!
