Introduction
Jordan’s priority is providing effective counseling services which reflect the highest quality of therapeutic interventions. She is determined to aid individuals in learning and adapting traditional coping skills to fit into their own lifestyle. Jordan believes that creativity in coping skills is an important contributor to utilizing skills outside of session and, ultimately, no longer needing therapeutic services. Jordan has received training in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, ranging from self-esteem to anger, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, stress management, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Modalities of treatment in which Jordan aligns are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Other areas of knowledge include ADHD, learning disorders, divorce, job loss, parent/caregiver stress, etc.
